Audrey Reid

OXFORD - Audrey M. (Wagner) Reid, 79, formerly of Russell Lane, died Saturday, January 22, 2011, at Charlton Manor Rest Home in Charlton. She was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Charles D. Reid Sr. of Oxford, who died in 1999. She is survived by her son, Charles D. Reid Jr. and his wife Terri of Windsor, CT; her brother, Paul Hast of Oxford; three grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Carmon Wagner and Myrtle (Johnson) Wagner Hast, and lived most of her life in Oxford. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1948. Mrs. Reid was a legal secretary for many years. She was an active member of St. Roch's Church in Oxford. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 25, 2011, at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at North Cemetery, Oxford. A calling hour will be Tuesday from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service.
