OXFORD - Arline C. (Lavallee) Forgit, 87, of Gardner Street, died Saturday, January 14, 2012, in her home. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Arthur W. Forgit of Oxford who died in 2006. She is survived by three sons, Gerald A. Forgit of Fertile, MN, Francis R. Forgit of East Hampstead, NH, and Paul E. Forgit of Spencer; two daughters, Gail A. Gilbreath of North Grosvenordale, CT, and Kathryn M. Brayton of Dudley; two brothers, Russell Lavallee of Wellfleet, and Richard Lavallee of Worcester; ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by four brothers, Leo Lavallee, Ernest Lavallee, Edward Lavallee, and Henry Lavallee. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Israel and Cecile (Doucette) Lavallee, and lived in Worcester and Rochdale before to moving to Oxford in 1950. Mrs. Forgit was a member of St. Roch's Church in Oxford. She loved crossword puzzles and doing cross stitch. A funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2012, from Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Roch's Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Calling hours are Tuesday, January 17, 2012, from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
