OXFORD – Anthony “Tony” W. Kilinskas, 86, of Sutton Avenue, died Saturday, September 7, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester. He was the son of the late Anthony M. and Mary (Shivick) Kilinskas and was a lifetime resident of Oxford. He leaves behind 3 sisters: Jeannette Marsh of Princeton, Carol Clouthier and her husband Robert of Oxford, and MaryAnn Johnson and her husband Dana of Deerfield, NH. He’s lived with Carol & her family, including Robert’s mother Pauline, since 2022 when the family dairy farm was sold. He also leaves a niece & 6 nephews: Robert, Michael, David and Richard Marsh, Brian Clouthier, Catherine and Christopher LaCross; many great- nephews and great nieces and many cousins and a long-time friend, Roger Fish. 

Tony graduated from OHS in 1955 and then graduated from the UMASS Stockbridge School of Agriculture in Amherst in 1957, after which he returned to the family farm, helping his parents manage & operate the dairy farm until his parents retired from farming in 1970. He also worked at Lapa’s Oxford Fruit Farm during apple harvest season and then the New England Newspaper Supply Company in Millbury until he retired in 2000. 

Tony was well-known for his flower gardens. He was a member of the New England Lily Society and won many awards at lily shows. He was a past president of the club. 

Until his mother died in 2001, Tony & his mother supplied many beautiful bouquets of lilies, gladiolas, dahlias and other flowers for the altar at St. Roch Church. Tony was a lifetime member of St. Roch Church.

A funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, from Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oxford, followed by a Mass at 10:00 A.M. at St. Roch’s Church, 332 Main Street, Oxford. Burial will follow at St. Roch’s Cemetery in Oxford. Calling hours are Tuesday, September 10th, 2024, from 4-7 P.M. at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mary Kilinskas Scholarship Fund in care of St. Roch’s Church.
