Annie Krantz

April 20, 1999 — May 27, 2017

OXFORD - Annie Belle Krantz, 18, died suddenly on Saturday May 27, 2017. She is survived by her adoptive mother Elyse Krantz and her five siblings Lily, Ava, Susanna, Cory and Rosy Krantz; her adoptive brother Paul Joyce; her aunts Kathryn Yates, Alma McClintock, her uncle Robert W. Krantz; her birth parents Albert Krantz and Miriam Minnabarriet; and many cousins with whom she was very close. Born in Arkansas, Annie moved to Oxford in 2010. Her tragic passing has affected her community deeply.

A vibrant and resilient person who loved to laugh as well as make others laugh, she could light up a room by merely walking in. Courageous and brave, Annie lived life true to herself. She adored nature, one of her favorite pastimes being climbing trees, rocks and exploring. She was tolerant of all people and was loved by all who knew her.

Annie enjoyed traveling, having visited Maine and Cape Cod often, and ventured as far south as Mexico. She loved spending time with her family and friends and was always up for adventure. A true free spirit, Annie was multi-talented, giving, kind and outgoing, a beautiful person both inside and out.

Nearly obsessed, she adored the color yellow as well as her extensive garden gnome collection.

Fiercely loyal to her friends and family, when Annie had your back, you knew that you were good to go. She was determined and fearless; truly a remarkable person who will be greatly missed by many.
