Andrew Boutillette, Jr.

CHARLTON - Andrew A. Boutillette, Jr., 78, of Lelandville Road, died Monday, April 7, 2014, in his home. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Patricia E. (Cregg) Boutillette of Charlton; his brother, Paul M. Boutillette of Oxford; and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his sister, Beverly Anderson of Oxford who died in 2013. He was born in Webster, the son of the late Andrew A. and Ora (LaPlante) Boutillette, Sr., and lived in Oxford, Webster, and Connecticut, before moving to Charlton over 40 years ago. He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade High School in Worcester. He served in the U.S. Air Force, where he worked in sheet metal maintenance in England and served in the Air Force Honor Guard. Mr. Boutillette owned and operated Webster Sheet Metal with his family for many years, retiring in 2007. He was a pilot and enjoyed flying his Cessna out of Oxford Airport. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Dudley, a member and past president of the Dudley Lions Club, and was the zone chairman of the Lions Club at the state level. Mr. Boutillette was a former member of the Oxford Fire Department and a former member of Singletary Rod and Gun Club. The family would like to thank St. Vincent Hospital Dialysis Unit in Worcester for the exceptional care he received during his dialysis treatments over the past seven years, and Overlook Hospice for keeping Andy and his family comfortable at home. They would also like to offer a very special thank you to Dr. Murthy at Reliant for his spectacular care and to K's Ambulance for their help and friendship over the years. A funeral will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014, from Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Road, Dudley. Burial will follow at St. Roch's Cemetery in Oxford. Calling hours are Friday, April 11, 2014, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dudley Lions Club, P.O. Box 51, Dudley, MA 01571, or to Overlook Hospice, P.O. Box 1000, Charlton, MA 01507.
