DUDLEY – Allen S. Everitt, 59, of Southbridge Road, died Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge.  He is survived by his mother, Nellie J. (MacLennan) Everitt of North Oxford; two sons, Christopher S. Everitt and his partner Tara Beane of Oxford, and Scott W. Everitt of Webster; two brothers, Joseph M. Everitt of Oxford, and David B. Everitt and his wife Paula of Worcester; his sister, Cynthia L. Manos of Auburn; his former wife, Lorri B. DeRoy and her husband Daniel of Pawtucket, RI; his special friends, Scott and Shannon Szkutak; and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  He was predeceased by his son, Justin R. Everitt who died earlier the same day.  He was born in Worcester, son of the late Richard A. Everitt, and lived in Dudley since 1997.  He graduated from Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School in Charlton in 1981.

Mr. Everitt was presently employed as a CNC programmer / machinist at IMA North America in Leominster, where he worked for over 20 years.  He enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors.

Memorial calling hours are Sunday, August 7, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford.  A prayer service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours.  Services will be for both Allen and his son Justin; they died just hours apart.  Burial will be private at a later date at Hillside Cemetery in Auburn.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116.
