OXFORD - Alice A. (Mitchell) Dudek, 84, of Mt. Pleasant Street, passed away comfortably at home on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, surrounded by her 3 loving children. She was predeceased by her first husband, Gerald J. Hebert who died in 1972; her second husband, Walter E. Dudek who died in 2001; and 4 brothers and sisters. She is survived by three children, Donald R. Hebert of Worcester, Linda L. Plante of Oxford, and Steven D. Hebert and his wife Deborah of Leominster; a brother, Francis Mitchell of Millbury; two sisters, Carrie Pearson of Utah and Margaret Wunschel of Millbury; five grandchildren, Jerry Hebert, Michael Hebert, Maryann Palmer, Christopher O'Connor, and Travis Plante; 6 great grandchildren, many nephews and nieces, and her beloved dog, Roxy-Bella. She was born in Millbury, the daughter of the late Walter and Exilda (Webber) Mitchell, and lived in Millbury before moving to Oxford 58 years ago. Mrs. Dudek was a member of St. Roch's Church in Oxford. She volunteered her time with the Busy Bees in Webster, where she made comfort packets for disaster victims and the homeless. She enjoyed traveling around the world with her family, and most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. A funeral will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013, from Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Roch's Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at North Cemetery, Oxford. Calling hours are Friday, January 25, 2013, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
