Albert Beland

OXFORD - Albert H. Beland, 72, of Walnut Street, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015, in his home. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Judith A. (Gardner) Beland of Oxford; his daughter, April Beland of Oxford; his sister, Eleanor Boss of Shrewsbury; his brother, Roger Beland and his wife Patricia of Dudley; nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his son Johnathan Beland who died in 1993. He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Hector and Elizabeth (Maynard) Beland, and lived in Worcester before moving to Oxford in 1967. Mr. Beland retired from the Neles-Jamesbury Corporation in Shrewsbury, where he worked as a machinist. He enjoyed golf, billiards, playing cards, and visits to the casino. There are no services or calling hours planned. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is assisting the family with arrangements.
