OXFORD - Adeline R. (Larocque) Heeps, 87, of Millbury Road, died Monday, July 5, 2010, at Lanessa Healthcare Center in Webster. She was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Arthur C. Heeps of Oxford who died in 1984. She is survived by four children, Adeline R. Mahlert and her husband Charles of Newburyport, Marie E. Mahlert and her husband Arthur of Charlton, Claire H. Garneau and her husband Eddy of Oxford, and Nancy B. Davis and her husband Alfred of Sturbridge; ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a sister, Pauline Remillard of Webster. Mrs. Heeps was born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Simeon and Catherine (Fredette) Larocque, and lived in Worcester before moving to Oxford 70 years ago. She graduated from Holy Name High School in Worcester and was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Charlton. She enjoyed bingo, playing slot machines, and crafts. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 8, 2010, at St. Joseph's Church, 10 H. Putnam Rd. Ext., Charlton. Burial will follow at St. Roch's Cemetery, Oxford. Visitation will be Thursday, July 8, 2010, from 10:15 - 10:45 a.m. in the rotunda of St. Joseph's Church in Charlton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Church, P.O. Box 338, Charlton City, MA 01508. Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, is directing the arrangements.
