BiographyTHOMPSON, CT – Marjorie A. (Brackett) Wheeler, 96, of Thompson Road and formerly of Oxford, died Sunday, January 22, 2012, at Matulaitis Nursing Home in Putnam. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Raymond M. Wheeler. She is survived by her daughter, Jane Austin and her husband Ray of Thompson, CT; many grandchildren, including Randy Austin, Dianne Barrett, Jim Austin, Ray Wheeler, Jim Wheeler, and David Ward; many great grandchildren, nephews, and nieces. She was predeceased by two sons, David A. Wheeler and Raymond F. Wheeler; a great-grandson, Heath Babineau; a brother, Wayne Brackett; and two sisters, Sylvia Brackett and Alicia Bonin. She was born in Lunenburg, the daughter of the late Frank and Evelyn (Page) Brackett, and lived most of her life in Oxford before moving to Thompson, CT, in 1996. She graduated from Lunenburg High School.
