Biography

OXFORD – Shirley L. (Nelson) Paquette, 77, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2011, at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge. She was predeceased by her husband of 28 years, Florien J. Paquette of Oxford who died in 1993. She is survived by four children, Crystal D. Hart of Arizona, David A. Parmentier of North Oxford, Joseph E. Paquette of North Oxford, and Mia S. Paquette of Oxford; a brother, Arthur Nelson of Oxford; a sister, Helen Lincoln of Warren; eight grandchildren, Jared, Fay, Benjamin, Bree, Ashley, Andrew, Farrah, and Darci; eight great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Bundeff of Oxford. She was born on December 22, 1933, the daughter of the late Ernest P. and Bess L. (Stevens) Paquette, and lived most of her life in Oxford. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Oxford.

Calling hours are Sunday, January 23, 2011, from 6-8 p.m. at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Services and burial will be private at North Cemetery.
